We moved from Belle Fourche to Aladdin, Wyo. in 1975 where we lived on my dad’s family ranch. I had many great adventures on the ranch with my four brothers Juan, Marvin, Mark, and Kurt and one sister, Javon. It was a great life filled with 4-H, country school, rodeo, and a lot of hard work.
I attended Hulett High School and was involved in volleyball, basketball, track, and cheerleading. I met my high school sweetheart during my freshman year, and we married in 1979, in our family church, in Belle Fourche. We have three beautiful and bright daughters.
Our first born has chosen the medical profession and has become established in Colorado.
Our second daughter has just finished high school and is exploring law enforcement and/or counseling as a career. She also loves several forms of dance, to include ballet, modern, tap and point. We have also been blessed with our first grand baby, and he adds immense pleasure to our family with his “wit and charm.”
Our third daughter is eleven and is involved in piano and band “as a drummer.” She loves rec. basketball and is on a traveling basketball team as well. She also loves soccer and, in addition to being involved in the local soccer association, she has been chosen for the South Dakota Olympic Soccer Association this year. Baby girl also loves to hunt with her dad and grandpa in Hulett, where the Neiman ranch is located.
We enjoy spending time at the cabin, located on the golf course in Hulett, in the summer for a little break. We fill our days there by driving the golf carts with Grandma Neiman, fishing with Grandpa, and just generally soaking in the peacefulness of the area. We also love to go to Denver and spend time with my oldest daughter and my youngest brother, who is in the military and currently stationed in Colorado Springs. |
